Since the WWE introduced it’s wellness policy in February 2006 a total of 23 well known wrestlers have been suspended for taking drugs. We’re not necessarily talking illegal drugs here! If a wrestler is found to have anything from pain killers to steroids to cocaine in his system he/she will be suspended with out pay.
The WWE wellness policy works on a 3 strikes and your out rule. If they test positive once it’s a 30 day suspension. If they test positive twice it’s a 60 suspension and if they test positive 3 times they’ll be fired from the WWE.
I’ve only included the the bigger name wrestlers in this list.

His second suspension was in August 2006 for violation of the wellness policy. The liver enzyme deal had just broken prior to his suspension so it’s assumed he was involved with that.
