This weeks Smackdown starts off with Batista coming out to be interviewed by Michael Cole about the Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out. He goes on about how he’s going to win when M.V.P comes out. This is going to be a repeat Raw. I just know it!
M.V.P says he’s going to win and is interrupted by Big Daddy V. Then The Great Khali comes out. yap yap yap. Then Finlay comes out. yap yap yap. Then The lights go out and The Undertaker appears in the ring.
The Undertaker appearing in the ring was quite cool but the rest was utter shit!
First match: Shelton Benjamin Vs Kane
Shelton Benjamin wins by count out.
VERDICT: 1/5 Not a bad match! Quite entertaining actually! It’s a pity in ended in a count out though.
Second match: Chuck Palumbo Vs Jamie Noble
Chuck Palumbo wins by a pin fall.
VERDICT: 0/5 These 2 got old a long time ago! After the match Palumbo kicked the hell out of Jami Noble out side the ring again. Chuck threatened to run over Jamie Noble with his bike.
The beat down after the match went on for far to long! It was boring television at it’s very worst! It just dragged on and on and on…. Utterly pointless and utterly boring!!
Third match: Jesse & Festus Vs Deuce N’ Domino
Festus pins Domino
VERDICT: 1/5 Not a bad match entertainment wise. Festus provided the entertainment just by being like a bear on speed!
Not sure what Jesse was talking about the last couple of weeks saying Festus was a new man. He looked and acted exactly the same to me! A bit wilder maybe!
Edges highlight reel: Guest - Vicky Guererro
Out comes Vicky in her wheel chair. Edge says next week he’ll have a life altering question to ask her.
The Edge says Rey Mysterio owes Vicky an apology and demands that he come out and says sorry. Rey comes out. Vicky demands an apology and slaps Rey twice and tries to slap him again but he blocks it then Edge beats him up. Then Rey does a 619 on him and says to Vicky “Vicky, i almost forgot. I’m sorry!”
VERDICT: 0/5 Am i the only one that finds this “emotional story” a boring load of shit? It’s like watching a very bad cheesy soap opera!
Backstage: Edge tells everyone to tune in next Friday.
Fourth match: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder Vs Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moor
Hawkins pins Shannon Moor
VERDICT: 0/5 I don’t know if it’s the fact that this match was flat or the fact that I’m nearly asleep because the show this week so far has been very very boring! What ever the reason, i found it boring.
Fifth match: The Great Khali, Big Daddy V & M.V.P Vs Batista, Finlay & The Undertaker
The match was thrown out. Not sure what that means but there was no winners.
VERDICT: 2/5 This was a bit of a mirror image of the match on Raw the other night. The only difference being that this had a few guys we don’t see in the main event every single week!
The weak link in this match was (as usual) Batista! Everything about him says “I’M BORING!” Even his shape is boring! The Great Khali doesn’t have much going for him either but at least he’s 7 foot whatever!
The rest of the guys in the match put on a good show with plenty of action. Good match!
OVERALL VERDICT: 0/5 This was the worst Smackdown ever! A pretty good main event but the rest of the show was total and utter SHIT!!! Boring, boring and boring!
