WWE Smackdown - Atlanta, Gerorgia - 08-08-08

This weeks Smackdown starts in a pretty stupid way! With a divas gimmick match!

First match: Maryse, Victoria & Natalya Vs Michelle McCool, Cherry & Maria.

The Divas come out dressed like their competing in various Olympic sports. Swimming, Boxing, Gymnasts etc.

Natalya makes Maria tap out with the sharpshooter.

VERDICT: 0/5 Stupid and rubbish match!

Backstage: Chavo, Vicky, Hawkins and Ryder find Bam Neely unconscious with a black rose beside him!

Second match: Hawkins & Ryder Vs Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore

Ryder pinned Shannon Moore after him and Hawkins give him a double DDT.

verdict: 0/5 Not a very good match all in all. I found it pretty boring to watch, mostly because it was obvious who was going to win!

Backstage: M.V.P gets interviewed about Jeff Hardy. M.V.P just basically tells us all that he’s the best. M.V.P is great on the mic though so it was good!

Third match: Jeff Hardy Vs Shelton Benjamin

Jeff Hardy wins by DQ because M.V.P interferes in the match by kicking Jeff Hardy in the head.

VERDICT: 2/5 This match seemed to go on for a very long time! It was good though. Lots of counters and near pins. Pity it ended the way it did!

Backstage: Vicky and Chavo are talking about the black rose they found beside Bam Neely when Hawkins comes in saying he can’t find Ryder anywhere. Vicky tells him to look int he car park.

Forth match: Triple H Vs The Great Khali (Broken glass arm wrestling match)

Before the arm wrestling starts Runjin Sing and Triple have an entertaining conversation. Triple H is funny when he puts his mind to it!

Ends in a no contest after Khali head butts Triple H. After the match they have a fight which ends with Triple H having his head squeezed by Khali’s vice grip.

VERDICT: 2/5 This was the first arm wrestling match i’ve ever seen that I was in too! It was good until Khali head butted HHH. The fight afterwards was good too though so it wasn’t so bad.

Backstage: Hawkins is lying unconscious with a black rose on his chest.

Backstage: Chavo and Vicky are talking abotu the family being wiped out and Chavo says that they need Edge’s help because they’re next! Chavo says he’ll go and talk to Edge.

Fifth match: Vladimir Kozlov Vs Jesse

Before the match Kozlov demands better compition.

Kozlov wins in no time at all.

VERDICT: 0/5 Squash match! If he wants competition surely Festus was the one to put in the ring with him!

Sixth match: Brian Kendrick Vs Super Crazy

Kedrick wins with the Kendrick.

VERDICT: 0/5 Squash match! Rubbish! Getting bored with Kendrick!

Edge, Chavo and Vicky come to the ring and Edge gets a chair and tells the Undertaker to strike him down with his lightening or make the lights go out or just come down to the ring. Then he gives Chavo a chair and they both wait for the Undertaker to come to the ring. Edge then hits Chavo with the chair and gives him a conchairto! Then he tips Vicky out of her wheel chair and tells her that it’s not the Undertaker she needs to worry about but him!

VERDICT: 1/5 I didn’t expect Edge to turn on Chavo and Vicky so I enjoyed this bit! Edge is turning in to a psycho type person and I like it!

VERDICT: 1/5 Pretty boring Smackdown but had some entertaining bits in it. The ending with Edge was the best bit by far though!
