WWE No Way Out - Las Vegas, Nevada - 17-02-08

So here we are at No Way Out. I’ve got a funny feeling it’s not going to live up to all the hype and i’m going to regret watching it!

First match: CM Punk Vs Chavo Guererro (ECW championship)

Chavo Guererro pins CM Punk after the frog splash from the top rope.

VERDICT:2/5 Not a bad match but not a great one either. I expected a bit from from this one. It was a bit short i thought but anyway, not a bad way to start the night. The crowd seemed to be behind Chavo in this match. How interesting!

Backstage: Rey Mysterio is being interviewed about his torn bicep. He’s saying that in spite of that he’s going to win the match. Floyd Mayweather appears on the scene and says he’s backing Rey Mysterio tonight, or something like that.

Second match: M.V.P Vs Big Daddy V Vs The Great Khali Vs Finlay Vs Batista Vs The Undertaker (Elimination Chamber Match)

Batista and the Undertaker start the match. Nothing much of interest happens between these two.

Big Daddy V is the next one in. The light stopped on The Great Khalis pod. Cock up alert!

Big Daddy V dominates Batista and The Undertaker.

The Undertaker fell out of the chamber. I don’t think that was part of the plan! He just leaned on the door and it opened and he fell out! Pretty big cock up by someone there. I think the referee forgot to close the door after The undertaker went in to the chamber. 2 cock ups in as many minutes. Haha

Batista does a spine buster on Big Daddy V and pins him for the 3 count.

Big Daddy V is eliminated.

The Great Khali is the next man in the Chamber.

The crow chat “you can’t wrestle” at Khali.

The Great Khali nearly eliminates The Undertaker after he chokes slams him.

The Undertaker eliminates The Great Khali by making him tap out with his new submission move.

Finlay is the next man in the Chamber.

Finlay gets the Celtic Cross on The Undertaker and pins him but The Undertaker Kicks out.

M.V.P is the last man to enter the Chamber.

The Undertaker doesn’t wait for M.V.P to get in to the Chamber. He goes in to the pod and starts beating up M.V.P.

M.V.P punches the shit out of The Undertaker but The Dead man keeps coming at him so M.V.P runs away to the top of one of the pods to get away from him. The Undertaker grabs him and throws him from the top of the pod and when he lands Finlay pins him and M.V.P is eliminated.

Hornswoggle appears from under the Chamber and throws Finlay the stick (I’ll need to learn how to spell it!) and he hits Batista with it and pins him but Batista kicks out.

Next Finlay tries to hit The Undertaker with it but The Undertaker chokes him outside the ring pins him and eliminates him.

There’s only Batista and The Undertaker left now.

The crowd are really in to this match now! Batista does a Batista bomb on the undertaker but he kicks out.

The Undertaker does a Last Ride on Batista and pins him but Batista kicks out.

Batista has The Undertaker on his shoulders outside the ring about to slam his head against the chains around the ring but The Undertaker reverses it over the ropes back in to the ring and does a Tombstone on Batista and pins him 1..2..3

The Undertaker wins the Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match.

VERDICT: 4/5 Wow, i loved that! It was non stop action from the start. It’s the match i wanted to see and it didn’t disappoint me. Everyone put on a good show during this match, even Batista did a good job. The Tombstone that The Undertaker did at the end came from out of now where! Fantastic stuff!

Backstage: Edge is planning with Hawkins & Ryder about his match tonight. Teddy Long comes in and bans either Hawkins or Ryder from interfering.

Third match: Ric Flair Vs Mr. Kennedy (Career threatening match)

Ric Flair wins by submission with the figure 4 leg lock.

VERDICT: 3/5 Very entertaining match surprisingly. Mr. Kennedy was extra cocky tonight which was good. Ric Flairs shorts nearly got pulled right down by Kennedy at one point! The was a full moon!

Forth match: Rey Mysterio Vs Edge

Edge pins Mysterio after doing a mid air spear on him.

VERDICT: 1/5 This wasn’t really a match. Well done to Rey Mysterio for his show must go on attitude but because of his injured arm there wasn’t much that could be done really. It was still very watchable though.

The Big Shows Music comes on and out comes the big man himself! He’s lost loads of weight and is looking good!

He says he’s glad to be back and he will be a champion again. The crowd cheers that.

Rey Mysterio is still outside the ring (I never noticed him there) and The Big Show grabs him and trows him in to the ring starts taunting Floyd Mayweather who’s sitting at ringside. Floyd Mayweather jumps in to the ring to help Rey. He faces off to The Big Show and punches him in the face and runs away. The Big Show chases him through the crowd and Shane McMahon dressed in a suit appears and stops him. It all looks very serious!

The Big Shows got blood on his face and is spitting blood. Shane McMahon leads him back to ringside, over the barricade and up the ramp and is saying “he shouldn’t have done that, it wasn’t a smart move!”

VERDICT: 4/5 This bit looked too real! Floyd Mayweather did actually did punch The Big Show in the face a few times! (Did no one explain WWE to him??) Everyone looked so serious about it too! This was the most convincing thing I’ve seen on a WWE event for a long long time! Very well done.

Fifth match: John Cena Vs Randy Orton (WWE Championship match)

John Cena wins by disqualification after Randy Orton Slaps the referee.

VERDICT: 4/5 Fantastic match! It was really tense! These two guys are great together! Very entertaining to watch and the fact that John Cena didn’t win the belt made it all the better!

Sixth match: Triple H Vs Umaga Vs J.B.L Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Chris Jericho Vs Shawn Michaels (Raw Elimination Chamber match)

Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho start the match.

Loads of pins attempts and back and forth tit for tat between These two. Great match so far!

Umaga is the next man out.

:O Umaga does a double Samoan drop on both Shawn Michaels and Y.2.J. That is he had Y.2.J on his shoulders and Michaels on top of Y.2.J on his shoulders! WOW!

Jericho has Umaga in the Walls Of Jericho and at the same time Shawn Michaels puts a Cross Face on him. Nothing comes of it though.

J.B.L is the next man out.

Shawn Michaels face is seriously bloodied! Pretty vicious match so far.

Triple H is the next man in.

Chris Jericho pins J.B.L and eliminates him.

J.B.L Gets a chair and goes back in to the chamber and clobbers everyone with it!

Jeff Hardy enters the chamber. Whooooo

Umaga gets hit with Sweet Chin Music, The Code Breaker, The Pedigree and a Swanton from the top of one of the Chambers then gets eliminated by Y.2.J. Straight after that Jeff Hardy pins Y.2.J and eliminates him!

Triple H Pedegrees Shawn Michaels and eliminates him. Shit! Serious action!

Triple H pedegrees Jeff Hardy but hardy kicks out! Fucking hell this is a good match!!

Triple H tries to Pedigree Jeff Hardy again, this time on a steel chair but Hardy gets out of it and punches Triple H in the balls and goes for a twist of fate but Triple H throws him on to the chair instead and then pedgrees him on the chair and pins Jeff Hardy.

Triple H wins the Raw Elimination Chamber

VERDICT: 5/5 Wow, this was a fantastic, action packed, vicious, fast paced, thrilling match! It was so good I’m dying for a piss just now because I couldn’t leave while the match was going on because i was so glued to it!

OVERALL VERDICT: 5/5 Well, I’m a douche! I didn’t think I’d enjoy Now Way Out but i was totally wrong! This was the best WWE Event I’ve seen for a long time. The outcome of all the matches was predictable but there was still a few surprises and the action was awesome! Totally glad i watched this!
