Smackdown starts of this week with the undertaker coming to the ring and telling everyone else that’s in the Royal Rumble match that he’s going to win. When he’s finished and about to leave Big Daddy V and Matt Striker come out and and Striker say that there’s no way anyone can get Big Daddy V over the top rope at the Rumble.
Big Daddy V then heads down to the ring and V and The Undertaker start brawling. The undertaker quickly gets the better of the Big Daddy and he goes back up the ramp.
The Undertaker might be the biggest name in the WWE but he’s not very talented on the microphone! It was still good to have a change from the usual Vicky Guerarro and Teddy Long borefest that usually starts of Smackdown every week!
First match: The great Khali Vs Finlay
The Great Khali wins with the vice grip.
VERDICT: 1/5 Same old same old! Boring!
Backstage: Vicky Guererro is thanking Edge for sticking up for her last week against Chavo and Mysterio and saying what a great father figure he is. Then Chavo comes in and says sorry and wants to be “one big happy family” with Edge and Vicky. They accept!
Who fuckin cares!! I truly hate this Edge and Vicky thing! It’s ad enough as it is but now Chavo is involved it can only get worse!
Second match: Deuce & Domino Vs Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moor
Wang Yang gets the pin after a moonsault from the top rope.
VERDICT: 3/5 Entertaining match. All four guys put on a good show! High flyers Yang and moor are always good to watch and Deuce & Dominos aggressive style make them interesting too as long as they have decent opponents.
Third match: Mark Henry Vs Batista
Batista wins from a spine buster.
VERDICT: 1/5 Oh dear oh dear oh dear! Nothing but spears and a spine buster. Booooo!!!
V.I.P Lounge: Guest - Ric Flair
VERDICT: 3/10 There was no way that this would be boring. M.V.P is great with a mic and Ric Flair is a good talker too. M.V.P taunted Flair about their match at the rumble being his last ever match for a while and then Flair chopped M.V.P over the couch as he was calmly leaving the ring. Good stuff! 
Fourth match: Michelle McCool Vs Lalya
Michelle McCool get’s the pin after a cracker of a move! I don’t know what it’s called. Never seen it before though.
VERDICT: 1/10 Better than the average Diva match but still nothing special. Both girls had a good old scrap!
Backstage: Chuck Palumbo says sorry to McCool for his outburst last week and inspite of Jamie Nobles objection she accepts and wants Palumbo and Noble to get along for her sake and they agree “anything for you Michelle”.
Some one please get me a sick bucket!
Fifth match: Edge & Chavo Guerrero Vs CM Punk & Rey Mysterio
Mysterio & Punk win by disqualifacation after Edge hit’s Mysterio with a chair.
VERDICT: 4/5 This was a PPV quality match. Loads of high flying moves, technical moves and near pin falls! It was a shame at the shitty way the match ended because it was really good. It leads nicely on to the Royal Rumble matchs now though.
After the match ended Curt & Hawkins came to the ring and Edge. Chavo and the cronies beat the hell out of Punk and Mysterio.
OVER ALL RATING: 1/5 Apart from The Undertaker and Big Daddy V staring the show and the Punk/Mysterio Vs Edge/Chavo match this was as boring a Smackdown as i’ve seen yet!
