Elimination Chamber Matches For All

So both Raw and Smackdown are getting their own brand Elimination Chamber matches at No Way Out.

Am i the only one that doesn’t get turned on by Elimination Chamber matches? I don’t much like them. I should like them because they’re like a combination of Hell In A Cell, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series all in one match but I haven’t been impressed by any of the ones I’ve seen so far. I think I’m not very impressed because i saw the very first one and after all the hype about it i was disappointed because it wasn’t as good as people made out it would be! That’s what i thought anyway! So that was my first impression of the Elimination Chamber and it’s stuck.

Anyway, here’s what’s happening at No Way Out.

Raw Elimination Chamber match:

Triple H

Shawn Michaels

Chris Jericho

J.B.L

Jeff Hardy

Umaga

I’ve only seen three Elimination Chamber matches before and if memory serves me correct Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho were in all three of them!!! Why is it that Raw seems totally unable to be original!

The only reason i would watch this match is to see J.B.L and Jeff Hardy in the Chamber. I’ve seen the other 3 before and wouldn’t pay to see them again. Ohh i wouldn’t pay to see Umaga in it either!

Smackdown Elimination Chamber match:

The Undertaker

Big Daddy V

The Great Khali

M.V.P

Finlay

Batista

Now we’re talking an Elimination Chamber match i would pay to see! I haven’t seen any of these guys in the chamber except Batista. I would pay to see him in another one in the hope that he gets his brains (if he’s got any) smashed all over the place! No i wouldn’t, I’m joking! (I wouldn’t pay to see him in anything other than an electric chair!) So the fact that it’s all new faces makes this one more interesting i think.

There’s much more variety in this chamber match than in the Raw version aswell. There’s The Great Khali and Big Daddy V (The tallest and fattest in the WWE) Finlay and M.V.P (Two of the best up and comings in the WWE) The Undertaker and Batista (The best and worst in the WWE). On top of that there’s The Undertaker and Big Daddy V feud that’s going on just now.

VERDICT: I think having 2 Elimination Chamber matches on the one night is overkill and showing a lack of imagination from the WWE writers. To the writers credit though at least they didn’t put Hornswoggle in either of them!

Raw Elimination Chamber Match: Seems to me that this will just be a repeat of the other ones I’ve seen! At least there’ll be two new faces because Jeff Hardy and J.B.L are in it. I can’t see either of them winning it though so i couldn’t give a fuck about this one!

Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match: I could, would and probably will pay just to see this match! And not only will i probably pay for it but I’m looking forward to it! It’s nice to see the lesser guys getting a push for a change!
