WWE Smackdown - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - 11-01-08

This weeks smackdown starts off with Vicky Guererro and Teddy Long in the ring. There’s a surprise! Vicky is yapping on about something, I’m not sure what because i’ve given up listening to the boring cow! Rey Mysterio now comes down to the ring and he and Vicky start talking about her relationship with Edge. Yawn yawn YAWN! Now Chavo Guererro comes down and graces the ring with his presence. There’s more talk about Edge and i’m fighting sleep so I’m not exactly sure what happened but Vicky has just made a match for tonight. Chavo Guererro Vs Rey Mysterio. Oh great! We get to see these two fight again for the millionth time!

First Match: Chuck Palumbo Vs Jamie Noble

Jamie Noble beats Palumbo with crucifix pin.

VERDICT: 1/5 The go nowhere feud between these two guys has been played to death! This is the fourth time Jamie Noble has beaten the boring and talentless Palumbo! The only interesting bit was after the match when the crowd started chanting “Chuck is a looser!” Smart crowd, i agree with them whole heartedly!

Second match: M.V.P Vs Batista

Batista wins with a count out.

VERDICT: 2/5 M.V.P made this match! He was in control from the start. All Batista could manage was the occasional power move. I don’t know why the crowd cheer for this dick! He has no talent what so ever! I thought it was pretty unfair that M.V.P lost by count out.

Third match: The Undertaker Vs Matt Striker & Mark Henry (handycap match)

The Undertaker tombstones Matt Striker and get the 3 count.

VERDICT:1/5 Nothing interesting at all in this match. The only reason it wasn’t completely boring to watch was the fact The Undertaker was in it! He can make any match presentable!

After the match Big Daddy V came down to the ring and him and Mark Henry started to beat up The undertaker. The deadman soon turned the them when he sent Big Daddy V overr the top rope and then choke slammed Mark Henry.

Fourth match: Hornswoggle Vs Ranjin Singh (Arm wrestling match)

Hornswoggle wins because Finlay has rigged the table to give Singh an electric shock when he grabs the handle on the table.

VERDICT: 2/5 Mildly amusing stuff. It certainly offered a welcome break from the crap that’s been on so far!

Fifth match: Kane Vs Domino

Kane completely destroyed Domino!

VERDICT: 0/5 What was the point in this match? It was a total waste of time!

Sixth Match: Rey Mysterio Vs Chavo Guererro

Mysterio wins after landing a frog splash from the top rope.

VERDICT: 3/5 Good match but what’s the point, it’s going nowhere. Of course after the match Egde and his cronies came down to the ring and attacked Mysterio. I think everyone in the world and their dog saw that coming!

OVERALL VERDICT: 1/5 Rubbish, boring, pointless and rubbish again! This really was a waste of 2 hours! And why was there no divas this week?! Might have made it a little more interesting. I doubt it though!
